Eco Fiendly Cooking Tips

  1. Don’t open the oven unnecessarily when cooking… and when you finish using it, leave the door open to heat your kitchen and the rooms above rather than turning on the heating.
  2. Use a lid that actually fits on your saucepan when boiling water. It makes the water boil faster so you don’t have to hang around, and saves energy.
  3. Invest in a slow-cooker…
  4. And cook meals in it for a whole group of people rather than have each person individually wasting tons of energy for no good reason.
  5. Use bamboo cooking utensils.
