Tomato Fish Chowder

Words By:
Cost:
3-4
Total Time:
25 minutes
Ingredients:
2 cloves of garlic - chopped (if you’re off out on the pull afterwards you may want to just put the cloves in whole and remove before eating)
2 sticks celery - chopped
1 can of chopped tomatoes
Mixed green herbs (do not smoke)
Fillet of frozen haddock
Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Cheap, easy, and guaranteed to put some colour back in those malnourished cheeks.

To Cook:

1 .    Chop garlic and celery and sauté slowly in pan with a little olive oil. This can be done whilst on the phone to your Mum convincing her you spent all day in the library, not in bed.

2 .    Open the can of tomatoes and pour in. Simmer for five; time to undoubtedly change your facebook status.

3 .     Season, add the herbs and the fish, cover and simmer for five minutes or until fish is translucent and flaky.

4 .    Eat.

Pair with a chilled glass of White Lightning/ Lambrini or whatever booze is to hand.
