Denise Lewis' Hot Chocolate

Words By:

Olympic Gold medallist, Denise Lewis OBE, has remained in the public eye since retiring from athletics. She was a runner-up on the 2004 series of Strictly Come Dancing and is now a pundit for BBC Athletics. What’s more, she has
a bit of a thing for milk. “I love milk, I have done since I was a child and I have passed my love for milk on to my own children.”

Denise is a member of Team Milk, a group of British athletes who are part of the ‘Make Mine Milk’ campaign (you may have seen them on the side of the London busses recently). She says “I hope that Team Milk will encourage others to enjoy milk, whether it’s on their cereals in the morning, after sport for hydration or, my personal favourite, in a hot chocolate with nutmeg before bed.” And here is her favourite preparation method...
